What would i need it for ? how will i know i see it creates oxygen and help move water around tank.
is there somthing else that happens that makes me require it |

As I said above, my cichlids were lame without a bit of water flow, plus the extra filtration is only a bonus. I know wavemakers are used more in salt water setups but have never used one personally.

Gotta ya cool, Two canister filters would also be good yeah instead of filter in tank ?

Any current that breaks the surface will introduce oxygen into your water. That includes just a ripple, doesn't need to be splashing. 2 filters should be sufficient flow however providing they've got a bit of grunt.

Yeah current external filter is rated at 1000lph And i will probably order a second.
Being that there is already 1 at 1000lph probably only need another 1000lph couldn't see needing any bigger as the two together is really 2000lph getting done one at each end to help move water |
