You need to wear ear plugs.. it improves the sound quality by cutting out the harsh frequencies and leaving the ones that matter.

With mine in, it sounded like I was listening to a CD.

I started wearing ear plugs a while back to gigs for that exact reason. Also it stops the high pitched squealing in the ears after the concert. I remember after a killswitch engage concert, the squealing lasted for 2 days lol

Couldn't agree more, ear plugs are a must.
My problem was mainly the vocals. It sounded like he was singing through a pringles can.
Maybe I was just in a bad spot....

Ive never tried the plugs thing myself, but then again i dont get the squealing/ringing in my ears afterwards.

Personally, soundwise from where i was standing (rocking out) was perfect, vocals spot on.

I just wish i went to both nights now!

I was in the stands, and to me it sounded like shite.
But I was in the mosh for the Foo Fighters there too and they had the same problem.
I really wanted to go to the mosh (there was plenty of room...) but security were like sharks, and I'm not nimble enough to make a clean getaway.
Everytime some one got over the fence and made it passed security, I felt the need to cheer.

Yeah, no complaints on sound quality from me. So glad I managed to get into the mosh both nights. Am a very sore boy right now. Haha so worth it!
