Went to Guilderton over weekend.. pretty much there every 2nd weekend (beach house).

What a freaky session of fishing!!

Bucket full of herring
8 x stingrays
1 x mulloway
and several assorted sharks

All from 6am til 10am this morning.. wow!!

Went to Wagoe Beach (20km's south of Kalbarri) last week for 4 days. Only got one good night of fishing in the entire time as the wind/weather was horrible! pretty much 30 knot southerly winds the entire time

On the saturday night we did alright and kept a few Tailor to take happy snaps with and eat for lunch the following day. the majority we threw back (probably about 20 or so thrown back).

Below was my best effort for the night, just shy of 70cm and also a pic of our esky full

Super keen to back up there and hopefully get some good easterleys so we can actually do some ballooning for tuna and mackies!

Was literally booked to go last week also. Our group cancelled last minute due to the winds! We were hoping to balloon fish for mackie's but saw the forecast for southerly's and decided to pull out!

Awesome tailor but!

I wish we re-scheduled too hey!
Good Tailor yes, but seriously i didnt drive all that way and spend all this money to catch Tailor.....

What made it worse is we could see the mackie's smashing bait schools only a couple hundred metres off shore, but couldnt get the balloons out due to crappy wind!

All in all a tad dissapointing and im hoping my Salmon trips are more rewarding *fingers crossed*
