Default raw fish taste good

I didnt bleed it, some guy told me to just gut the fish n try it raw first. It actually taste better raw than cooked. Once the flesh is cook, it goes a bit chewy IMO.

Caught it in the swan river, dont know how much it weights but the head alone was over 3kgs and it was like 1.4-1.5m long

Went chasing mullaway, tailor and bullsharks tonight from the shore, no luck in that department but managed to land 5 25-27cm bream and 4 28-30cm bream. That made up for the lack of bigger fish. Followed my few golden rules with bream that work a treat! Looking forward to lunch tomorrow

Never fished Geraldton, sorry mate. Heard there is big skippy and you get good tailor up there. Just do the usual and fish from rockwalls and that Marina up there looks pretty enticing. Jump on google maps and go to satellite mode to help you pick out good spots if you havent done so already.

yeh ive had a look, by the crayfish factory is the best spot around the mariner. but if the greenough river mouth is open i will be hitting that spot pretty hard.
