Default Flame Suit on for this question

Not very seriously considering it but really would be handy to have something I can tow with and the STi just isn't going to get a tow bar.

Pretty interested in a VW Amarok when they turn up but I'm pretty sure they are the same length as the old hilux the mrs had and that just wouldn't make it into the garage.

Anyway thats leaving me in soft roader territory. I know the Foz or outback are options but I'm not to keen on either so I'm thinking maybe an VW Tiguan.

Is anyone bombing around in one and are they half decent or are they so depressing that lifting your head up to blow your brains out would be beyond you after a few hours in the seat???

6x4 with a couple of track bikes. Doubt I will go over 750kg but would like a fair bit of extra flexibility in future. The mates trailer I will usually use is unbraked so a golf is probably stretching it a bit legality wise.

Think I'm finally a bit over the STi and will be happy with something quiet and comfortable but if I'm giving it up I want a step up comfort and finish wise inside.

I'd be keen on a drive of the Amarok. Looks good on paper.
