I heard on triplej one woman went in the back door of her house and the water was up to her knees. by the time she got to the front door the water was up to her chest

Couldn't believe the footage...
It's not going to get any better soon. Especially with the Wivenhoe dam reaching capacity. They're going to have to dump heaps of water. Love the guy with the umbrella though. Very lucky to have made it out. Apparently on 30-60cm (depending on type of car) of flood water is all it takes to float a car off. |
