Personal/inter-forum joke. You missed it.

Really for a high-quality 3kW system with Canadian Solar panels (250W) and either a Sunny Boy SMA or Aurora 3kW inverter, you shouldn't be paying any more than $8,500 fully installed.

Can someone please tell me if I got this system what would the rebate from the government be. (Ball park)

That is including the rebate.

A system like that actually costs us about $14,800 fully installed. The government then gives you 186 REC's which you can sell for $34 each (the current going rate).

All sellers should handle this for you, unless you specifically don't want them too.

For a 3kW system this results in about $6,300 of rebate, resulting in a system which will cost you $8,500 fully installed.

Also - for others out there who are looking at different companies, please read your contracts carefully!

We have had several stories of people being told that the system will need maintenance every 2 years, and it will cost $200+ each time. They DO NOT require this. The system should run hassle free for 15-25 years. At worst you might want to wipe down the panels, but they definitely do not need a $200 maintenance check every 2 years.

Yes because Jazza doesn't like you.

I'll come over next week and charge you $200 to bask in my glory.
