They do have sunshine, and the ground does thaw for a few months.

Still happy with my 47c for the next 8 years. The panels have already paid for themselves in under 3 years. My forecast had them recovering cost after 4 years, but they've performed well & electricity costs have risen.

i just got quoted $350 a panel to upgrade my 3.0 kW system -

$3500 for 1.9kW of panels & using my existing inverter (Growatt 4200MTL)
