^ Same. I work in Belmont. Nothing. No rain. I drove home to the hills... trees down, cars parked up. Looked half like a war zone.
Power was out till this morning. Took the dog for a walk (what else is there to do with no power? and no... that's not a euphemism) and saw the SES trying to dismember a HUGE tree which had crashed right in the middle of someones home.
Tough times for some! hope they were insured for that kind of thing. (you're stupid not to be, up in the hills).

Had no rain on the coast.. not a single drop. Could see lightning in the distance last night over Ellenbrook area as I was riding my bike in the heat/wind through Butler. Amaizing how localised this was.

i was watching the lightening on the way to MMS to pick up my car then got soaked at two servos,Morrison rd and Gt Eastern hwy, trying to fill up to go home cause the first one lost power half way through. i then had to go to my parents house in Jane brook through flooded roads and down traffic lights to get changed and they had no power since 3pm( it only came back on at 12 today). Then 15 minutes later is was calm just a slight breeze. crazy!

yeah was thinking the same. I was in Belmont then Leederville and I had sunshine and clear skies all day long. Was bizzare to hear about such a brutal storm.

We got a pleasant evening breeze. Amazing to see those that got hit.

Haha at least insurance will cover it! All my meat defrosted . I heard from someone that i might be able to get $80 back for damages but don't know how to do that not that it is going to buy me much when all i eat is scotch fillet steaks and roast pork!
