Pretty much everything as noted - its a watered down evo. Same engine though, smaller turbo, ecu changes etc.

Could also be a water damaged stat write off, everything in NSW that goes to damaged car auctions is now a statutory write off unless it's a very rare collectable car.

I seriously doubt you'd be able to buy a 5 month old car like this in Japan and import it for that price.

It's like comparing a WRX to a STI. Looks similar. Both AWD Turbo. But massive differences underneath.

From what I can remember:

Detuned (I'm guessing has a smaller turbo too) - 177kW vs 217kW
No Brembos
No Recaro seats
SST only has normal and sport mode, no super-sport mode (i.e. no launch control)
AWD system is Evo IX spec, so different to the X too.
Engine bay layout is slightly different (i.e. airbox in different place, battery in engine bay not in boot like the X, different engine covers etc).
Suspension is all different. Lower arms etc are all steel on the Ralliart vs alloy on the X.
Exhaust is different from Ralliart to Evo X and not interchangeable.
