What did you do? Usually fixing gears and cheap are not in the same sentence.

Only driven the car a few ks locally and noticed the noise in second so nursed it home. Started sounding a bit like a dog box. Felt like the biggest tard when i saw the lack of oil in the box. I stupidly assumed that whoever the previous owner got to bolt in the driveline would have left the oil in it or put new in.

I am staying optomistic for now at least. Filled it up with multitrax and by the time I got a few doors down the noise dulled right down and is what I would deem to be normal. (fingers crossed)
