Let it be said i agree with more police on the roads and legitimate stops for hoons and crazy speed racers on our roads..but this new hoon reporting system seems to make it so easy to make a false reports against someone!

If you didn't like someone or even jealious of their car, u could team up with a associate and report their ass..legite or illegite this is pandoras box in the making..

Can any resident policemen/women charify what it takes..ie number of reports against someone, number of witness, evidence etc..B4 a cop can rock up at you door and confiscate ya pride..

whether they have a nice car or just a sh*t box..I reckon the court system is gonna get a log jam with these reports..im not stereotyping but i seen more high temperature mum's drive reckless than people is sports cars..??

What I don't like is tools in their 1988 Commodore doing burnouts in a suburb - so moronic - they should be reported. And again if someone is driving like a madman then they should also be reported, but if you're driving fast with just you in the car light traffic or no traffic then in my eyes you're not a hoon. As far as the reporting goes, I don't know, but I'm sure the Police wouldn't charge/fine someone just on the say so of 1 or 2 people. It could work in a similar way to which littering works with the Councillers able to report people for chucking stuff out their cars and the Police fining them.

This sort of stuff brings us one step closer to being a total police state. Almost as bad as the fascist regimes where people were encouraged to spy on each other etc. Maybe the police will round up all the alleged hoons and send them to a siberian prison camp like Stalin did.
