My son showing some initiative and attacking a fuse constantly blowing issue himself with mates. Fixed the indicator fuse issue which was a faulty relay. Hence, saved himself multiple hundreds in auto sparky costs.
However, when fixed car wouldn't start. Thankfully followed fatherly advice of "idiot check" everything again to realise that there was an electrical loom connector not reconnected behind the rear seat. Thus, no electrical to rear of vehicle, no fuel pump, no fuel , no start ... Took him couple of days of scratching his head but he solved it ... Starting to realise he doesn't know everything. At 20. Not bad.

Skids at RAC in 2 hours...
He had the HKS Gauge in transit from Japan, so he used a spare gauge of the same dimensions.

Had great fun at RAC. New tyres and pads will be on the list next. The Dunlops that came with it are fairly good but drop off fairly quick when you have one a few laps.
Thinking TOYO R1R or BRIDGESTONE RE002. Something that I can track and still use as a daily. I had those on my past WRX, they are great tyres.

Obvious choice is obvious
I have had some good reviews from OZMPS about the R1R's, some comparing them to the AD08 for dry grip and responsiveness. Just interested in possible alternatives.

Swap out the rears by all means but keep the fronts electric until you finalise the rollcage intrusion bar height. It's not worth compromising cage design to save 250grams of weight. The window winder is often in a direct line between the front foot of the cage and the bend in the main hoop that you want to have the intrusion bar on.
