Today has been an AWESOME day for me, this morning I had my RE test and passed it with the only mistake being I put my right foot down once when stopped so not to bad and i then got to ride to work...... Woohoo

But that is not the only thing that has made me very happy, today I decided to call up the workshop and ask if I could get the turbo for the forester halfcut upgraded before it goes in my car. I called at a good time because they were trying to contact me but had the wrong number so they say that it looks like the forester halfcut is not actually compatible with the year of my car, so I'm thinking SHIT at that moment

Then they continue to say that have just recently got another halfcut in and can fit it to my car for roughly the same price, the halfcut now being fitted is not a 2000 forester sti but is a...........1998 subaru wrx sti ra jap halfcut with a close ratio gearbox,4 pot brakes all round and dccd

So after a few extra mods and a good tune hopefully I will get 300hp atw and now I say Bring on Racewars

What turbo are you using to get 300hp?

Congrats, you're going to love it.........I did a Jap 97 STI conversion into my Gen 2 Liberty nearly 8 years ago and still love it as much as the day it was finished, only mods are intake and Exhaust and it's done a flat 13 into a strong headwind.

300hp @ the wheels?

That's not going to be a cheap option

Rossco made 312hp ath with his vf34 on a built 207. If you think you're going to hit 300hp with this conversion you might want to read through this thread

How are you going to get this 300awhp ?

Whilst it is a big component obviously, but it is not just about the turbo.
You may need to upgrade other components.
What ECU are you going to use?

I may need a 207 then, I'm also interested to see what power I'm actually getting after the conversion and I'll work from there

I'm going to get the conversion out of the way first and probably ask what others recommend because I don't really know that much....... But I guess a Cai,exhaust,bigger injectors ect. From what I've read.
