had the same dccd gearbox in my forester, great for drifting in open mode close ratio sucks balls a bit for a daily, revs out more in 5th on the freeway

agree with joe, reduce weight of car before you start putting a big turbo & smashing moar boost

my 207 blew up trying to crack 300, i think it made about 286 at its final tune and it popped 4 days later (vf37@24psi) bear in mind this was an 03 jdm semi closed deck 207, your ver4 sti ra motor will be open deck 207, you'll more that lickely blow it up shooting for more than 270ish hp imho

Just hope you're more careful than me. I scratched the fuck out of some bits... not through pulling them off but where I put then afterwards. Carefactor is low however. If it upsets me down the track I'll just replace those pieces of trim.

I can't for the life of me find my trim tools that I had out when we did my spoiler. I have a feeling they ended up in the bin. Storing them in a plastic shopping bag was smart...

Some of those pieces aren't overly expensive if you get them from the states.
I've taken it apart before and left a couple of small marks already , so I know what to expect and what to be careful of.

Already have a set ready to go, more than welcome to borrow them if you ever need them.
