Okay so, a few of my mates and I wish to go on a weekend away. (Upto 15 of us)

Thing is, we don't know where to go.
The Idea was Friday (Morning or afternoon) until Monday Morning.

I thought about Kalbarri, I love it there and the drive is nice, but not all of us have our licenses, and it's now winter so I don't know what it's during this time of year.

Dunsborough has been done and is getting a visit from us in November anyway.

I was thinking either Rottnest or Margaret River, but I've never been to these places for more then a day at a time, and I was about 12 when I did go.


We're all aged 17-19, it's a mix of guys and girls, and we're looking for something that'll cost us about $200-$300 each for the entire weekend.

Suggestions?

Has to be in Western Australia, and preferrably within decent driving distance (5hour drives max)

We don't really plan to do anything, just want a chilled weekend away, we make our own fun, and it's just a little holiday that we want to take.

Kalbarri is a 6.5hr drive anyway...

What about Pemberton. Hire a nice big log cabin with a fire place and enjoy the Karri Valley.

What did you want to do over the weekend?? Surf?? Head south and along the coast. Just veg out?? Head inland a little like Pemberton.

I've driven all around WA on various roadtrips.. every town has a different thing to do. So it depends on what you guys want out of the trip, as said above.. surfing, fishing, snorkeling, swimming, hiking, exploring or just chilling.. lol or maybe a bit of everything?

I'll update the first post, but basically we just want a weekend away from Perth, we're not the type to go and plan things, and a "take it as it comes" basis would work well. We make our own fun, and we're just looking for a good place to stay at this time of year (being winter n all), to chill out, have a few(lol) drinks, and a good time.

How are you going to drive anywhere if none of you have lisences? I don't get it, or did i miss something?

When I went down south, we stayed at Chandlers Smith Beach Villas for a week, just outside of yallingup. Much recommended, loved it there. 2 minute walk to the beach, not to mention you have plenty of places to go around you, such as Kato said above, Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingup, Margaret River, Augusta... all within a short drive away (Augustas a little further). Not to mention Caves Rd which is full of caves to explore.

I had an awesome time down there.
