had a bit of lighting & distant thunder off burns beach about 1/2 hr ago & just had a massive bolt of lighting & its now pissing down on the northern front

Crazy loud thunder (house windows shaking) , huge flashes of lightening and rain so heavy it sounded like hail (but wasn't... yet) in Rocky.
