Just out of curiosity has anyone been game enough to try this shit out yet???

Not sure if I'm game with the GTI to be test dummy cos I'm stuck with it for 600+ km if it's crap.

I know Philbo and SyncSubaru have used at least 1 tank each of it.
No issues reported. Philbo told me it was good shit.

If you are really worried about trying it for 600km, dont fill it up. Just put in a quarter of tank to see how it goes.

Anyone with a factory computer will be fine regardless of fuel station, so long as they use the right octane level if thrashing it.

It is only when you are on the bleeding edge of a tune that fuel quality really comes into play.

For anyone interested in trying it, the shell 98 is only 144.6 in duncraig and mt lawley.. whereas bp 98 are all around 150.9 today.

I have used about $50 worth so far and the pfc is showing considerably less knock at higher rpm compared to usual caltex 98 not common for me to use bp98 as most of the servos around home are 15-20c more than caltex and shell yesterday was 8c cheaper than caltex. So it's a plus one for me ! Going to fill up for the drive to Mandurah this weekend wiyh Shell i'm keen to see what it's like on hwy driving.

I've noticed the Shell in Clarkson has it now. Didn't seem too badly priced. Will give it a go when I get my car, for sure! Especially with Coles current 8c off vouchers
