I heard in Europe Vpower98 is better than Bp ultimate 98. Is it the same here? We need to find out.

It would all still come from the same refinery wouldn't it? I was unaware shell ever stopped selling a 98 tbh.

Also, don't they have a 100 ron they sell over east? that would be nice.

I don't think Shell has ever sold 98RON fuel in Perth.
Over east it was called Optimax

V-Power Racing was the 100RON over East, was a blend i think.

Quote:
In Australia, from October 2006, Shell and Coles Express re-branded Optimax to V-Power (98 RON). V-Power Racing, the ultra-high performance variant has a rating of 100 RON although as of July[when?] this is being phased out, instead recommending V-Power. The previously obtainable higher grade V-Power Racing which contained 5% ethanol to boost V-Power's octane rating to 100 RON has now been phased out by Shell due to a "changing market".

Shell used to sell Optimax 98 in Perth. V Power 100 over east which my understanding was a blend.

Due to WA different fuel grade regulations wouldnt surprise me if it was BP based fuel with Shell additives.

The shell near my mum is undergoing an upgrade atm - I wonder if they are putting Vpower in there... Be interested to see how it compares!

^ all will be revealed at the event, I guess. If it's not, there's plenty of people who will be pushing for those answers.
I'll be there to see the F10 and play on their racing simulator
