Perhaps the Royal in East Perth, really good atmosphere, good food, not the greatest service but the ambience is well worth it, and hey i can even come down and watch *breathing heavily*

Coffee is good for a first date if you 'unsure' about their potential..cheap yet can be classy, and easy *escape*.

Otherwise, although some of these have already mentioned, I'll reiterate from past experience,

Reflections sth Perth (think its been renamed after renovation)
For special occasions, Blue Water grill Heathcote...get the platter for 2.

I guess itd be nice to get guys who take you somewhere and spoil you..but it doesnt have to necessarily set the standard....

Id vote Little Creatures.. hey if you run out of things to talk about.. the freaks running around that place provide plenty of conversation (is that underwear being used as outerwear ? is that a tea cosy on that guys head? is that a guy or a girl ? ) Atmosphere/beer and food are all great.

Food at oyster bar is bombed... but dont go on a friday/sat night if you want a nice quiet meal experience.. drunk pissheads running everywhere lol

have never been to cocos/c restaurant blah blah so cant comment on them.. but id have to say girls (ok well most of us) like to get a bit dressed up.. coz then we can choose a nice outfit that makes our butts look small and boobs look big.. haha ... but then we have the same problem of setting the standard...

and i think the picnic idea is great.... just dont prolly need to go all out with champas and strawbs... keep it a bit more casual with normal food..
