Dirty water supply?
Hey folks,
This might be a really really dumb question, but I've not encountered it before and would appreciate some help. We just bought a house, which hasn't been lived in for a 5-6 months. We have been noticing today that there seems to be little white bits (I'd call them limescale if I were in the uk) in the water, it's not cloudy or anything, just these odd bits floating around. I've run the tap for ages, and also put the water through my britta filter, but it's still the same. It's driving me crazy! Can anyone tell me what it is, and whether I need to get an inline filter re-installed (there is a small filter tap installed on the sink but it looks like the previous owners removed the filter for some reason). I was told that the filters are like $200 plus fitting costs... But id rather pay that and not have to worry!! Anyways, your thoughts would be appreciated!! Thanks
