Bike now sold

Started on a Suzuki GS500E, then went to a Yamaha Chundercat - also known as Thundercat (YZF600 I think) in the UK, then went 7 years without riding when we moved to Oz.

Then I jumped straight on this...

My Father in-law left my wife with a Yamaha XVS650A which I rode for a while

Then I grabbed this 06 Sporty which is now owned by a member on this forum. Can't remember his name though.

Now have an 06 Triumph Rocket III Classic. Love it!

No bike as yet, go for my test next month so hopefully be will able to post up a pic soon of either a Honda CBR 250R ABS or a Kawasaki Ninja.

I dislike this thread because it's giving me massive urges to get a bike licence!

Is the above Beemer the bike that On 2 Wheels said had all kinds of computerised trickery and it had something like 3 modes, one which was totally idiot proof with DSC and detuned etc.. then a full slick mode where no aids at all are in place?

If it is that bike, the article made me think long and hard about one of these but I am too much of a fat bastard to be comfortable on one!

Dont have a bike of my own, but have fond memories of "learning" how to ride on my mates Suzuki RGV250 - ironically his Honda Fireblade 1000RR was way easier to ride.

Been a while since I have ridden a bike though.

Nice Dan. My old boy has a black Rocket 3 roadster which he has done a bit too. Carbon fiber galore on his including the big bear claw on the left hand side. He has had it about 2 years now which is the longest he has ever had a bike. He also has a very Plum Honda CBX from the late 70's which looks like it just came off the showroom floor.
