Default Any motorcycle riders on here? Post up your pics!!

Just curious to see how many other "Temporary Australians" there are on here.

Would like to see some pics of the bikes you ride when you not trying to perfect that AWD launch

This is what I started out with
1986 Yamaha FJ1200

Then came along the 2009 Suzuki M109R Cruiser which I recently sold.

And I now wait for this to arrive in the first week of April for this.
2012 Ducati Diavel Carbon Red.

Dan.

Been riding for years,

Started on a ZZR250 when I was 17 then it got stolen so I had to resort to my old man's 1999 GSX1300R Hayabusa

Was pretty much stock apart from cruise control and the Remus Carbon cans, have cracked $3.00 in it on a private track a couple of times.

My first track day on it (shit jacked & jeans = no knee down!) Thing was a bitch around the track, could overtake on the straight no problem as it had mega balls but slowing down & turning was interesting (Nearly 100kg heavier than your average 600)

Rode around in that for ages then he up and bought a 2011 BMW S1000RR (Incredible bike) Currently stock as a rock but he has a few plans for it.

So I responded with 2009 CBR1000 Race Bike.

Fully stripped
Raceglass
Power Commander 5 & Tune
K & N filter
GPR mechanical adjustable steering damper
Accasoto radial mount Master Cylinder
520 chain conversion
Full Yoshi exhaust
Billet Levers
Pro Grips
Stomp Tank grips
Sato racing rearsets
Yoshi case savers
Billet fuel filler
Clipons
Kill switch lanyard
Braided lines
Race shift (reverse lever)
Running Pirelli Diablo SB Slicks

Brakes failed at Collie a couple of weeks ago (Big poo moment) and Currently having a new Brembo racing system installed as well as a quick shifter for the flame poppage.

Jump on either of the old boys (still has the Busa) whenever I want to ride on the street, save me having to waste more money on another bike for the road. He gets to throw a leg over the track bike regularly so its a win win.

Is the above Beemer the bike that On 2 Wheels said had all kinds of computerised trickery and it had something like 3 modes, one which was totally idiot proof with DSC and detuned etc.. then a full slick mode where no aids at all are in place?

If it is that bike, the article made me think long and hard about one of these but I am too much of a fat bastard to be comfortable on one!

Yep, has 4 modes - Rain, Sport, Race & Slick. All do various things with throttle response, lean angle, peak power, traction control, wheelie control, ABS etc. Also has quick shifter (clutchless upshift) from factory which is awesome.

Need to ask BMW for the special key to activate Slick mode as they don't allow it from factory, "Too aggressive and everything is turned off". Makes the throttle incredibly sharp and yeah you loose all the ABS, Wheelie control etc. Dad has it and last time at Collie threw it in slick and it did feel more urgent.

Big thing is its massive power, pulls away from any other thou with ease. On the track bike, much lighter & more hp than stock I have massive drive on it out of the corner but it just walks away down the straight.
