i bought a evo 7 from Sydney, all i did was buy the car send it over to perth on a truck and then once it was here brought it over the pits, but i had to buy a permit for the day i drove it to the pits, but i was driving that car around for about 3 moths before puttiing it in my name ( risky if u get into a crash ). Hope it helps :S

No transfer = no compulsory 3rd party in any state.
If you are involved in an accident and anyone is hurt they will hunt you down for any money etc
