Default My New Impact Wrench :)

Hi guys. Well boredom has gotten the better of me so i thought i would show off my latest toy, also im finding these things are becoming pretty popular so i thought ill throw in my 2 cents about mine....
I went for electric over air mainly due to not having a compressor and not liking the idea of always having to have a hose connected. Anyway, the model is Makita BTW 450z 18v, It has a half inch drive with 440nm torque, first, the negatives- this thingis fu#kin heavy, doesnt bother me all that much but it might some, also its big, this may make it hard to use in certain situations/places, i ve taken a few photos for comparison, next to my ipad and kettle

Now the good, this thing has a lot of power and is a lot of fun to use , ive used it countless times to remove my lug nuts( however i still tend to do them up by hand to eliminate the possibility of over tightening ) as well changing out my stock suspension and fitting coilovers, this thing was so handy and made the job sooo much easier, especially when it came those 2 bolts at the bottom of the strut which are always tight as fu#k, this thing removed them with ease, overall i would certainly recommend this to anyone not wanting to go down the air route, the battery life in it is really good and when it does go flat it has a rapid charger (22 mins i think it is to fully charge) now for costs, it was quite pricey, Toolmart are selling the bare tool ( no battery or charger ) for about $350, igot mine off ebay from the US for about $330 with one battery included so i think that was a pretty good deal, i then bought a charger also off ebay second hand for about $60, anyways im having a lot of fun with it so far heres a couple more pics, enjoy

I haven't used the Makita version, but Master D bought the Milwahkee one... used it in conjunction with an air rattle gun and it could do everything the air one could... Handy tool.

I am still learning how to use a drill, so I won't get one for a while. I am not that handy

I need a cordless driver and also an hammer drill. Might have to have a nosey on ebay rather than just hit bunnings as i intended.

It's cheaper to buy the tradesman pack, but that's assuming you do a bit of DIY at home
Than each individual tool
