G'day Tony,

What is the brand of frame your building up in the top pic? It looks like an internal gearbox design??

Found it! Zeroed G-1. Internal geared hub. MTB porn! What are you expecting the final build weight to come in at?

Its a G2. Ive waited so long for the G2 which has itoned out alot of the below average things on the G1. I reckon it will be around the mid 18's. Heavier than my last bike but will ride so much better.

Keen to get back into riding, what's a good pushie that can handle downhill and uphill? Prefer a downhill style bike that can handle some xc too...
Budget's about 3k.

Specialized stumpy evo 26. They are 3200, but you will not find a better equipped
Bike for your money. I just ordered one from wembley cycles. Best bang for your buk bike this year.

Definately interested in specialized, but what's the go with the 29ers? Better off sticking with 26"?

They have bigger wheels.
Stick with 26ers for the win.
