The only thing I was doing that was/could of been deemed as unsafe was speeding. I don't think that because it was a cop as opposed to a camera makes it any different. Cops could be bored, need to meet quota, targeting, etc. I also always thought the in-car cameras were inaccurate, and the fact he was approaching me compounds that inaccuracy?

Ill wear the fine obviously no problems. It just seems in my mind they spend more time targetting speeding like this, than other crucial items like theft for example.

Being honest here, what speed were you doing?

Being done for 15kmh over the limit isn't a small oversight which is why you have been done.

But given your attitude to this 'safe' road, were you doing 90, 100, more and just got a fine for 15 over?

Also the car mounted radars are actually quite accurate.

When I saw the lights flash it was about 80kmh that I was doing. Not bad considering I have done higher on this road before haha. But today I wasn't going over board at all for sure. When he said 85kmh I thought it was quite a bit higher than I was accurately doing.
