Default What Euro car for $40-57k?

Guys,

Having a discussion with some of the guys at work and a couple are wanting to get into the Euro car market. They have put together their ideas of what that want in the $40-57k price range which is as follows:

Porsche Cayenne / Turbo
Porsche 911 Carrera
Range Rover Sport / Vogue V8
X5 V8
E55 Supercharged

What else is out there for that sort of money and does anyone have any experiences with the cars listed above... troubles, servicing, how they drive etc?

I assume you're talking used vehicles right?

Lotus Exige in a heartbeat. Absolutely mental and hilariously fun to drive...even if you do look like a bit of a twat on the streets in one. (That said all of the car's you listed are the most twattish imaginable, so that obviously isn't a concern!! )

Pretty broad range of cars...ask them what they want the car for?

For me personally i would be tempted with an e46 M3.
