Vodafone reliability query
I'm about to get a new phone and was going to go with Telstra, pretty happy with their coverage, but a bit expensive. I left Vodafone a few years ago, because the service was abysmal e.g service dropping in & out and that's in Perth & the surrounding suburbs. 10 mins out of Perth - forget about it... have they improved much in the last few years or do they still have similar issues? ta

Misses is with Vodaphone (iphone 5), lives in CV, works in Nedlands.
Still has occasional issues with service dropping out and some areas where its very intermittent, not to mention very slow data speeds (hasn't been as bad since the 4g rollout has started). I'm with Telstra and can't recall the last time I've ever had an issue with reception or speed. IMO, it is worth the extra money to get a service that actually works all of the time.

Second that, I live in Maylands and have full connectivity with Telstra where I had two bars at most with Vodaphone.

Im with Vodafone and in Canningvale, Im running the Galaxy S3.
Its actually been pretty good considering Canningvale is in some sort of funky spot for Vodafone, That what people have told me.

With vodaphone atm it's alright, fast net, reception is better than what it used to be. Telstra covers more places though.
Up to you, I pay $59 a month $700 call value, unlimited texts to anyone including international, plus 2.5gb of data |

Vodafail (Chodafone) have gotten a little bit better in the last couple of months, and they now also roam onto Optus' regional network to increase their coverage (Comes up as Vodafone AU R)
Having said that though, there are areas around Perth that I get full reception, but data refuses to work. I will be switching when my contract is up |

I was with Vodafone in Heathridge, constantly dropped calls and really poor internet speeds etc. I was let out of my contract and went to Telstra - should have done it sooner. Cannot recomment Telstra highly enough - great coverage, never have dropped calls etc.

Vodafone has improved over the years, and the coverage is good unless you go outside of the metro area, or under a bridge, or in a tunnel, or indoors, or in bad weather, 30+ degree day, full moon, high tide, wind gusts, low tide, night time or dusk, low light conditions, use with sugar, rinse with warm water, two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickled onions on a seasame seed bun.
