For what its worth, bare in mind that the Cayanne will be expensive to maintain 'we're talking tires and general perishables here'. 4WD tax on the more common varieties is expensive let alone the more up market varieties.

This bares even greater weight if second hand is the avenue here.

I'd go for a New Lexus IS350 F-Sport, but sounds like ya into euro stuff maybe look at the a new S3 Sedan..

Don't go a Cayanne or an x5 or something equally as shit

Maybe hit up an Audi, shame you just fit short of the S6 price range

The new STI would fit the bill or one of the STI libertys, for around 60k, will give you some spending money
