Default Car Chamois Recommendation

Hi Guys,

I am planning to buy my kids a decent car chamois as part of their Christmas presents for their cars as they currently have between them a few crappy ones. any recommendations on what to buy?

Go genuine leather.

I find the plastic/fake ones to be rubbish.

"Meguiars 100% Natural Leather Chamois"

Online or most auto shops should stock them.

That's my $0.02

EDIT:

Having a bit of a read up, apparently Chamois are no good for your paint work, instead people have recommended one of these;

Microfibre drying towel. Apparently much better...

I stopped using chamois because they eventually dry and go brittle. I now use microfibre cloths and haven't looked back. generally, the better the brand, the better the result.

I've used turtle wax, bunnings no name and meguires, best results with meguires or tw.

I also use one of these, cuts down on drying time.

You want to make sure there's not a single piece of grit on your car before using a water blade. They also make a fucking irritating sound.

I use one of these microfiber chamois, I've been quite happy with the results and quality. Auto-pro sell them, and probably a whole lot of other places now.

I use waffle weave microfiber towels.

They sell for up to $20 each but I get mine from bunnings for about $2.50.

On detail paradise (a car detailing forum) most of them are professional detailers and use the Morgan ones from bunnings too but mostly they will plug ZAS and Detail Central waffle weave microfiber towels at $20 a pop because they are forum sponsors there.
