As stated it wasn't a risk I wanted to take.
I was just pointing out there is an alternative to laser surgery. One question to ask yourself. Why do the majority of eye care professionals wear glasses or lenses? |

Ortho-K sounds like a good alternative - I mean, wearing them while sleeping, doesn't take much effort, and doesn't really affect you as you're sleeping anyway. If that gives you perfect vision while you are awake, and far less risk of danger to your eyes, why not?
IanJ, does your vision deteriorate over the course of the day? |

Hi SS,
It does for the first week or so (It only really deteriorates late at night even after only a couple of nights wearing them.) I now just need to wear them every second night (although i only have only done this a couple of times now). Give Chris at Eye-Q a call, he's been really good with us. Ian |

My girlfriend had it done last friday and has had no major problems at all. She would recommend it to anyone. It was about $4700 to do both eyes on the same day at the lions eye institute.
