Default large carpark

I'm taking my nephew for his first driving lesson, need a large carpark south of the river preferably around the canning vale area , any suggestions ?
I know most shops are now open on sundays , maybe Murdoch uni ?

If the car parks are too busy, try back streets of newly developed residential area, where the roads are built but only vacant blocks of land. There wont be any traffic through there..

Yeh universities are a pretty good place. Quiet, but also a few cars around to negotiate and park next to when you get to that stage of bravery.

There should be some schools around the area with parking out front that aren't closed or locked up over the weekend.
Shouldn't expect to see much traffic there.

Also, I heard/read that RAC are doing some stuff at the Motorplex once a month or something? You use the whole staging areas, te car parks and the roads in that area. The idea is that you have more than just a car park; you have roads, obsticals and other road users (other learners) to negotiate but all in a closed and monitored environment where everyone is on the same page. I'm on a mobile now but check out RAC website or google it and I think you'll find something.

Its exam time, would avoid universities until december.

+1 industrial areas, quiet enough on weekends. Early morning usually more so.
