Not really, The average wrx owner / WAW / weekend MC person would be far better off spending $100 on a helmet and putting the rest towards brakes / suspension..

Riding bikes / drag racing cars at 200MPH is another story of course

I really think it depends on the sort of motorsport your doing tbh, I really dont see you being in such a horrific crash that you will even need a helmet at MC, its just done for insurance reasons. If it were GroupA rally on gravel with a caged car, shityeah get a real helmet.

tru, better safe than sorry i always say, but if im not doing anything huge like rally then it prolly aint worth forking out the extra coin for a top of the line helmet.

I'll hav a gander and see wot my pocket can afford, i dont want sumthin that is guna break easily either (so to speak).
