I've been around the powerlines quite a bit recently after getting bored with Gnangara. I made the trip down there and wow was it worth it... We got out of the car a couple times to have a look at what was ahead. Some of those tracks are just ridiculously scary and I wouldn't go down or up them!

Can you go the full length without having to do any of the hardcore tracks?

Yeah there is some hardcore tracks out there, Most of it is pretty fun! Def a good idea to check out the track ahead and take it slow and have a spotter with you. nothing worse than going into a track not knowing what your up against!

Really depends on which tracks you are on, as there is a number or runs out there! some harder ones you're stuffed if you cant get though a section! Some times there is really no option but to go forward, because you could have spent a few hours getting to that point, and it would be shit to have to turn around!

We took a new RR Vogue SDV8 out on the Powerlines recently - much easier when it isn't your car.

Nice Jan! Would you mind telling me exactly how you got to those spots? Where did you turn into it?

We took Gorrie Rd (off GEH) then turned left onto the Powerlines - which gets you somewhere in the middle I believe, start of the more difficult terrain.

Then just follow the track all the way to the end.

So yesterday I took the stock as a rock GV out to Mundaring powerlines. Went from Sayers valley all the way to York rd. Mostly on chicken tracks but thats cool! Had a great time with a mate in his 2012 GV and another mate in a Prado.

So impressed with this car! I love it! A few times I bottomed out on rocks/mud and the exhaust made a bad sound! Sounded like I punched a hole in it. (sounded great) But when coming off the problem areas it was just fine again. Turns out the springs on the exhaust flanges really work! haha

Needs a lift and underbody protection badly! Here are some pics. Will upload a vid soon aswell.

Selfie!

Bogged hard on deep ruts.

Had such an awesome time!

Cant wait to lift it and put a JML bar on with spotties.
