Will be going on Saturday. Do the same as last year. SOR for the first practice and then catch the ferry to the North side to watch the second practice.

i only have the sunday. but north im doing this year try get really early and get some photos of them on the ground and some take off and landing .shots.

Hehe, I have a wicked plan for this year.

The planes fly in on Wednesday at some time, and practice for all of thurs and friday, so I will spend those 2 days doing F*ck all at work, watching them from my desk.. (my work over looks langley park and the swan river)

Then, come Sunday, my work throw a big bbq on the roof of our building, where we can sit and watch the race... so thats where i'll be.

I went to the South Perth foreshore last year to watch it. Managed to bullshit my way in to park at Jan's old place on Mill Point Road and just walked down and met up with him and watched it from there. Had an enjoyable time.

Looking forward to a mostly slack week.

I reckon the highlight last year was the f18 doing its thing....that was simply awesome! I found the red bull planes got a bit boring after a little while but the f18 was something else. I went on the Saturday ---same sort of thing as sunday but no crowds....just the practise part
