You would prob find all the fancy fancy stuff would be done on a very fine fine fine tuned and programmed CNC , in lenghts 1.2m - 1.8m+ ... Then mitred down to size

Yeah i ised to use cnc lathes for turning and normal lathes (ie bedposts, newals dowlels) too!!

its not that i think i would struggle with, its having the knack to making it look like the "wow" thats cool look ie gold silver bits etc....


Yeah the navy dan messed me about with the last date they cancelled the 4 or 5 days before due to staff shortages i then had to re-schedule for the 3rd time!!

So this time time i thought sod it and booked it for a later date in bunbury so i dont have to travel the date is 10th july....

Just thinking about it guys after looking at page 1 on here i might buy some tools and some timber at the weekend and have a go at it (dont know what i will frame yet) all i need is the basic tools i suppose ie saw mitre box tape measure timber etc


What are them frames worth when finished???

Gez just search on the net im sure you wil be able to get some ideas on different styles then just ask people what colour backing etc they want.

Yeah thats what i was thinking gonna have a go at it with somat of mine ie toy cars or somat framed with some kind of design it cant be that hard......

i mean to simplfy it its a box with a fancy face, ie 1x1 frame, contents then outside visual frame attached glass etc

If you are keen, I have two Oil paintings which need doing, they don't need glass of course as they are oil paintings so just a frame around them.

Would want them in a white or black frame.

Will have a go at one or two then get pics up

I supoose i am wasting my talents ie qualified bench joiner,qualified carpenter and joiner and qualified wood machinist

Anyway watch this space i have a good idea
