Not bad attempt. Great scenery and colours. Can see the Southern cross and Centaurus there. that would look awesome if you took a 10-15min exposure to get some star trails.

Here's my Canon 350D UV/IR modded, 2hrs worth of 10min exposures on a Newtonian telescope with autoguiding.

Some pics of the new 370Z from a couple of weeks back. Nothing special, short of time and average location/time of day.

Cool car though, got a quick steer. Unfortunately it was the auto/paddle shift version, was keen to try the manual with its auto rev matching system. Still a fun car to drive and its got some pace, sounds very much like a 911 (Carrera) from the inside too.

The headlights aren't as bad as they seem as long as you don't look at it straight on, quite tough from 3/4 angle. Needs lowering too.

12 photos on my site at www.ozcarsightings.com/nissan_370z/index.html

My first few pics with my first ever DSLR still getting use to it. Any constructive comments to help me become a better photographer?

Great shot Craig. What filters do you use for these long exposure shots? ND?

speciv:

first image is fine (id crop out the bit of dark lawn bottom left, and id use a lower f stop to get the gates in the foreground to blur out a bit)

2nd has incorrect white balance

3rd is blurry (probably too dark in there for a fast enough shutter speed)

4th is under exposed (but mostly fine)
