Deep space stuff again sorry

Eta Carinae - 175 stacked frames - this time shot on an extremely clear night with a stable atmosphere

Tarantula Nebula - 185 stacked frames - same night as above
(it's a little noisy but I was trying to bring out the contrast and depth in the dark dust lanes)

I have a Wedge winging it's way to me from the US of A - then I'll be able to mount my scope in a different way that allows me to shoot individual exposures up to 45 mins long - that will unlock something like 75% more detail in these types of objects.
thebish, Soksta, Slap Dash and 2 others like this.

A Little something I've been working on..... M42 Orion Nebula

There are 1200 sub images (shot over the last few weeks) aligned and stacked to bring out all the detail in the final image. Total number of frames shot? 1670!!!!

Those pictures are incredible! Are you working out of an observatory or something because my amatuer telescope only enables me to see a decent layout of the moon?

Haha I wish I was working out of an observatory!

I'm using a Celestron 6SE Schmidt Cassagrain telescope with a Canon 600D Dslr and a Meade #911B Nebula filter.
Most of my images are captured from my backyard in Wembley Downs.

What scope do you have?

Here's my latest moon shot:
