I'm not a terribly experienced photographer or anything so anything I do is pretty much amuture. But this was only of a few good shots I got when I was playing around with my new Olympus 790sw at Aus Day this year

I'd like to tag along too if that's ok. I have a Canon 400D and I'd be keen to learn a bit more.

Cheers,

So i got out and had a play with my "new" 400D tonight. Was the very first time ive taken a snap on it, so ive barely skimmed the surface of all the settings. Was using a 70-300mm Lens. No tripod yet unfortunately.

Not really sure what i can do to make these better, i probs shouldve gone a bit earlier while there was still some light. So heres the better ones of the lot...

Got a 17-40mm L series lens and a tripod coming soon, so i'll have a bit more of a go another day.

Feel free to make any suggestions about how i can make theses better.
