its being run by Gerry Gibbs camera house in cannington... they take youaround perth doing night shots and thenback to the camera place to play around on the computer and stuff..

they teach you basic things and then progress as you go along..

yah went there and got some good shots... will try again once the course is done and see how it changes once I know what Im doing

Wow... that sounds pretty beneficial... what are the costs?

What sort of shots do they run through? I guess you'll be able to answer that better after tonight!

ok my brain hurts from last night but it was good!!

learnt alot so far.. we didnt go anywhere we just learnt the basic's of going full manual with your DSLR.. so turning off allllllllll auto modes... was mental :S

was playing around with shots last night under fluro lights to stop it turning yellow or green when viewing those kind of pics..

I have a copy of the workbook with all information like if your taking drifting shots or motorsport shots how to get the vehicle in focus but outside frame blurred motion shots and stuff..

learnt different lights you can adapt too.

tomorrrow we are meeting in Hyde Park to go full manual in daylight
Monday night we are at Mends St Jetty to do some night work
Tuesday night we are back at the photohouse place to play around with the pics we took and to work through how we went then its question time and then we over

have been playing around with the stuff we learnt last night and now my pics are coming up better... learnt about noise in pics and how to manage that also

its been quite good

Awesome, thanks for posting.

I too am one of the many that turn it on to manual and hope for the best ... so I'm keen to see how you go with this course and if it was worth it. If it is I'll probably sign up myself.

Cheers,

wrxpc
