Do u have any detaiils / costs / contacts?

Took the mrs down to Quay West, Bunker Bay Resort for a few days (pretty flash place, car park was full of BMWs X5's, Cayennes, prados, volvos etc). Made a deal with her- If she stayed in a decent hotel i could bring the fishin gear Got to fish while she went to the wineries with her mate! Win win really!

Pretty average pic (P&S mode during a very brief break in the rain / wind carrying bunch of fishing gear) but if you look carefully this is the end of a rainbow! just in front of the white house it came onto the beach. Obviously when it was raining it was much easier to see. Walked up that way, one minute it was in front, next few steps it was behind!

Who says there's no pot of gold! Lots of big salmon hanging around, only 1 person in sight. Cant go wrong!

ok so heres a few pics from this morning in hyde park... (farking cold ass morning!!)

first pics were to correctly photograph speed and movement.. you can adjust your settings manually... from slow (getting alot of blur as its long exposure

or fast to a dead stop and crystal clear image

same again....

slow - long exposure

quick

he also showed us how to concentrate and blur out backgrounds to bring forward what we are trying to capture.. its like the glasses and keys on the table... its all in the forground and everything is blurred in the background as you dont want to see it..

and with focusing in on what you want to see

and I kinda got a little distracted and took a pic of the ducks diving :P

im unsure about the costs as I got the course as a present.. might be worth contacting Gerry Gibbs Camera House in cannington and finding out their rates and charges

another meet up tomorrow night and cant wait

cool well let us know how u go!

Plaza Digital in the city also run a lot of courses for those that are interested. Most places do actually, just ask around. Theres heaps of photo communities on the net too which can help expand your skills and knowledge. photosig.com is one.
