What settings were you using? I don't think focus is your issue it looks more like a product of slow shutter speed. Shooting pets is hard enough, let alone indoors. Push the ISO up to around 800 and raise your shutter speed to anything over 1/200 and you should be right.

If you're using Canon make sure that you have AI Servo on (in the focusing options) as this will help track the animals too.

Thanks Jan, do it! This particular monster had 350 atw and made my WRX (w/ Vf34) look like a barge. The colour has to be seen to be believed, a dream to shoot in sunlight...just wish it hadn't been midday!

Should get in touch with my mate Simon if you don't know him already, he's well rooted in the PSB community, sponsors a few racers and is always arranging shoots. Might be a good contact if you're wanting to shoot more bikes?
