ok, so from all the info/reading from the R/c threads i gather i should buy the following:

BUY:

*tt-01 car (i plan to get the expert kit)
*then i need to purchase a battery and charger. (can the standard kits use the lipo batteries?)

other question:

Brushless seems to be the go, for more speed/better performance time?
if so, that means i will need to buy the tt-01 then purchase a brushless engine kit?

thanks for all the advice and i do apoligise for the noob questions, its just that i know some shops, will sell a noobs anything and rip me off.

last time i when to get a r/c helicopter the person said a 3d helicopter is ok for a beginner, i cant even fly a standard twin set of blades one let alone fly one upside down!

eZRun Combo B4 60A ESC+5.5T/6000Kv motor 1:10/12 Auto | eBay

Brushed v brushless? there's no comparison!

Brushless can easily produce over 700 watts in normal 'grip' track racing with 95% efficiency.

Brushed motors used to make 3-400watts but waste a lot of energy in waste heat.

ended up picking up the ken block drift r/c, looks pretty decent in the flesh will be taking a few photos of it before i get it on the road..as i know the girlfriend or i will probably smash it up some how . Will get some practice in over the next few weeks then maybe i might come down and do a drift session with you guys..

one question i have is how long will i need to charge the battery first time round?the advise i was given was 4-6 hours. If that is the case how long should i charge the car up for the second time onwards.

thanks in advance..
