If anyone is interested Les Walkden took a punt on Subaru getting back into rallying and went ahead and built 2 brand new jdm spec c hatches and one sedan. I.e a total of 3 cars.

In case you have been living under a rock Subaru arent throwing a lot of factory money around at the moment.

Walkdens have built the cars with full chrome moly cages, stripped all superflous brackets etc. what they do not have is any aftermarket suspension or brakes. They still have the stock shocks and brakes in them.

Given they have had them sitting in a shed on Les's farm for over 12 months they are rather keen to move them on.

This is a fantastic opportunity to buy a brand new spec c with a chrome moly cage ready for whatever you want to do for less than the cost of the new car.

Walkdens will build it to whatever spec you want but for someone who wants a hassle free entry into motorsport without buying someones elses problems this would be a great start. Then as you get faster, more serious put in some shocks etc.

I have seen one hatch and one sedan and they are absolutely brand new.
