Whilst I am not 100% sure, IF you have been charged with reckless then your car will be able to be seized under WA legislation.

If a member of the Police Force reasonably suspects that, while driving a vehicle, the driver has committed an impounding offense (driving), the member must, unless in the circumstances it is impracticable to do so, impound the vehicle within a period of 28 days after the day of the offense.

If it's not seized roadside then a surrender notice will be issued for the car. And, it's an offense to sell a vehicle that is subject to a surrender notice.

Probably best to familiarise yourself with Road traffic Act 1974 and get further advise from Noble or the like before you wind up in more shit than you're already in.

Ps: So you are saying that for $90K I could do the following.....

1) Take 12 months off work
2) Fly to the UK
3) Purchase RB320 for $25-30K AUD
4) Get pissed, smash coke and hookers for the remaining 11 months and 29 days.
5) Personally import my own RB320 to Aus.
6) Sell for $90K in Australia (thus having a free 12 months of loving life)
