I think this is the bit that everyone is getting mixed up with. You say you have the stock front pipe. What is that? If you have a dump to cat to catback where does the stock front pipe fit in?

Dont change your uppipe. Its catless anyway. Also by going bigger like avo then you increase the volume of air which can slow down you spool as its the same amount of air but in a larger area. Therefore slowing compared to the stock size. Also i think your STi fuel pump will be up to the job your making it do.

How much you want for your STI intercooler?
