Yeh at the moment i am running around with the stock map. I took it to a tuner and he said it is taking out timing but its acceptable (not doing damage).

With the whole wideband issue if i was doing a complete tune i can see why i would need one. However hasnt the XPT already been tuned for my engine/mods, the only difference is the higher CR ratio. So why would the AFM tables be off? Theres no reason the engine would run lean. right? So all i need to do is reduce boost and timing untill romraider shows no knocking. I can log everythin and as soon as i record a knock i can reduce the timing at that load/rpm. If i manage to reduce timing so i have no knocking how could i damage my engine? As an extra check couldnt i pay for a single dyno run to make sure i am not running lean. Even tho i cant see how i would be.

Your ej208 runs the same C/r as the Ej207 btw.

Now your talking... never heard of this RPW and in WA!!. So they do opensource tuning? few hundred for a tune? would be nice
