Default CEL fault P0600/traction light and Cruise light flashing

Hello,

I have 2011 WRX.

Car is running fine. I have a CBE and Stage 1 TP tune.

This morning I had a CEL come on. At the same time the traction control and the cruise control lights were flashing.

I did code retrievel and got code P0600.

Did a reset and the CEL has not come back on.

Anyone experience this?

Cheers.

I also had the Bluetooth elm obd connector connected as well just to view some gauges.

Not sure if that has anything to do with it!!

Do u leave the elm327 on obd port all the tim? If so, thats the cause. I had that code twice before, dont need to worry.

hello s20525xxx

I don't leave the elm327 on all the time, only when I am driving. If that makes sense.

Just trying to piece everything together. Just before it happened I pulled over retrieve my sunglasses from under the drivers seat.

A whole lot of harnesses there but I don't think it has anything to do with it.

Did a bit of research. Maybe battery. I checked the terminals, the negative terminal was barely on and a fair bit of corrosion.

Anyway see how it goes.

Stressed!!

Cheers.

That happened to me twice, I dont think I touched anything electrical. But since I bought another one (lost the first one), it never happened again. Maybe buy another one off ebay?

Just to finish this off.

Had to travel for work today (240km round trip). Tightened battery terminals. On the way home did not use the elm adapter and had no issues.
I'd rather use money on mods rather than repairs!!

Cheers

G'day mate, ironically I had those exact symptoms plus the Si drive was also disabled on my 10'Sti this morning on the way to Bluestar. When they ran the code it was the Oxygen sensor - front bank. O2 sensor immediately after the turbo.
