Default JDM ej207 V7 ecu issues

Hi guys i'm new to the forum.

Have recently done a jdm ej207 V7 sti engine swap in my 2001 wrx. Have to everything in and a ia performance rhd wiring harness for the AVCS. When i finally went to start the car with the ecu that come with the engine, and it wont prime the fuel pump, can hear the relay clicking but fuel pump wont prime.

Have been through a lot of forums with little success trying to diagnose the issue. Finally plugged back in my stock ECU and fuel pump primes and starts the car. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas on why i cant get it to start on the jdm ecu.

Any ideas would be helpful.

I've got a spare 05 STI Spec C ECU if you need it. It doesn't need the key. Was tested stand alone.

You need the key transmitter from the JDM car you got the ecu from and the key.

I also need the electronic barrel ( switch ) from the drivers door to start mine. With the drivers door actuator not working it would not start. It was part of the security system

Ignition barrel, key and ECU are coded together.

Swapping out one of these and the car won't run.
